Pressure resistance analysis of multi-layer fluid-solid-coupling shell structure

Abstract This paper focuses on the pressure resistance of underwater equipment. A shell structure that divided into multi-layer is proposed, spaces between layers are filled with fluid medium, which applied gradually decreasing in outside-inside order helps offsetting external pressure. Using Finite Element Method, Multi-layer Fluid-Solid-Coupling Shell Structure has been proved to be effective improving equipment without increasing total thickness material, scope study, maximum equivalent stress whole decreased increase number instability phenomenon.
